It’s a fun new sketch challenge at As You See It!

I started with some antique looking papers from my stash and used a curved die to create the two layers for the sketch.

Then I added some lace and adhered everything to the card base.  Finally, I added the sentiment and pearls and popped up on the card.

It’s a new challenge at Retro Rubber and it’s one of my favorites!  Tic Tac Toe!  I am loving those more and more!

I opted for the top row of dies/sparkle/stars.  I die cut several stitched stars out of blueberry bushel, pineapple punch and granny apple green.  A weird combo of food themed paper names!

I added the sentiment from my PTI belated birthday sentiments from 2015.  I ran everything through the linen impression plate and then added the bling.

It’s a new challenge at As You See It!  A fun color challenge that I used to create a St. Patrick’s Day card.

I die cut the oval in soft suede and then used a leaf punch to create faux three leaf clovers out of granny apple green and shaded spruce.

I added everything to the card front, added some bling and the sentiment.

A new challenge is afoot at Retro Rubber!  It is time to earn your stripes and use them on a card.

This card did not turn out anything like when I started.  I was going to stamp the stripes and then ended up with pattern paper instead.  You just have to go with the flow!  I started by die cutting two stitched ovals and stamping the sentiment using my W+9 Strictly Sentiments stamp set from 2013. 

Then I flagged the ends of the striped paper (it pays to save scraps!), added some gold thread and then adhered everything together.  Finally, I popped up the sentiment and added some gold stars.

A fun new sketch challenge is at hand at As You See It!

I started with cutting some pattern papers and backing them with island indigo cardstock.  I placed the papers according to the sketch.

Then I stamped my sentiment and backed it with a bit of pattern paper.  I adhered it to the paper and added a bit of silver ribbon and a button.

Finally a bit of bling and island indigo dots.
