Fill In The AYSI Blank...

It’s a new challenge at As You See It and it is a fill in the blank.  (that I got to create!)  My go to die or punch that I use most often is the linen impression plate.  But I think you all could have guessed that!  I love it because it adds a smidge of texture and makes the card feel a little more upscale.

#209 9.13.19

I did a one layer card so I could show off the linen plate.  I added snowflakes and circles in soft colors and then ran the card thru the linen plate.  Even though it is hard to see! aysi 209 1 (546x640)

I stamped the sentiment, die cut it, and popped it up on the card. aysi 209 2 (640x459)

It's always a bit difficult to see the texture from the linen plate so here is a picture of what it looks like. aysi 209 3 (640x474)

Retro Rubber Challenge 119...

Welcome to a new Retro Rubber Challenge!  We are all about fall colors and need to use red, orange and brown on our cards.

RRCB 119

I started by stenciling some fall leaves across my card in the required colors.  Then I added a bit of chocolate chip cardstock above and below the stencil to frame it in. rrcb 119 1 (534x640)

I die cut some leaves in red and orange, as well as one in dark yellow that I aged a bit using brown ink.  Finally I added the sentiment which is from the PTI keep it simple blessed sentiment set from 2017. rrcb 119 2 (640x338)
