Inspiring Words For AYSI...
January 03, 2020
Welcome to the first As You See It Challenge of 2020! It’s a recipe challenge to use silver, snowflakes, dry embossing, rhinestones and an inspiring sentiment.
I started by stamping some snowflakes in light gray and then stamping the sentiment over the top in black ink.
I added a piece of silver cardstock and then ran the card front thru the tin types impression plate. After that, I die cut using a stitched rectangle and adhered to the black card base.
Finally I added the rhinestones and was done! Just a note, these photos may look a little dark – when I lighted them up, the silver was too reflective and made the dry embossing even harder to see. (The pattern is a stitched diamond and inverted dots at the edges of the diamond.)

A beautiful CAS card Jane with a lovely sentiment, that I've heard before but never realised was attributed to Winnie the Pooh. The addition of the embossed silver strip balances it perfectly.
