Recipe In Pink...

It’s a new challenge at As You See It!  We have a recipe challenge to use distressed paper, blossoms, pearls, shades of pink and embossing folder.

#293 2.24.23

I started by stamping my branch with pear pizzazz and the wisteria with pink pirouette and pretty in pink.  I added the sentiment and then ran thru my dainty diamonds embossing folder.  I cut the card front down with my deckled edges die.

I also ran a piece of pink pirouette thru the dainty diamond EF and deckled edges.  Then I did something that just about did me in – I crumpled the paper.  Oh man!  My organized pea brain just about couldn’t handle it!  LOL.  But it’s a great way to distress your paper!   I then adhered everything to a card base of pretty in pink, added some pearls and was done!

Retro Rubber Challenge 200...

It’s a new Retro Rubber Challenge!  It’s a fun sketch to try your hand too!

RRCB 200

I started with some old olive cardstock, cork and pattern paper.  I ran the old olive through my SU! bark embossing folder and the card base on my trusty linen impression plate.

I cut the green down and then made a couple of strips out of the cork and pattern paper.  I adhered them all to the card base and popped on a mini sentiment.  The sentiment is from my Simon Says Stamp Sketchy Banner Greetings from 2013.

Tulips Mean Spring...

It’s a new challenge at As You See It!  It’s a fill in the blank!  My favorite thing about spring is: all of the spring flowers.  Tulips, daffodils, irises.  I love to see them pop up in the spring after the cold winter.

#292 2.10.23

I stamped the tulip images and then colored using my stampin’ blends.  I die cut them and added a bit of linen thread.

I die cut the card base using the split card textures die and then adhered the tulips.  I added the sentiment and was done.
