It's A Beach For AYSI...

It’s a new challenge at As You See It!  It’s a speed challenge with an outdoor theme.

#295 3.24.23

I pulled out everything I needed and got started.  I stamped the image in crumbcake on my card base and then colored using alcohol inks.  I ran the card front and base through my linen plate.

I die cut with my deckled edges, adhered the ribbon to the back and then to the card base.  I added some dots and pearls and was done.  Surprisingly, I had 1 minute and 18 seconds left.

Good planning makes all the difference, time wise. Love this set and I like the strong pops of colour you've used against the Crumb Cake base. The slash of bright ribbon is a nice touch.

Great job, Jane! Brave to go with colouring on a timed challenge, but it looks really good! I love the little fringed ribbon behind it too!

Bravo on doing a much better job at timed colouring than my first attempt Jane - a simple stamp and minimal colours is the key! A great image - this is just how I love to spend my time outdoors! I love the sparkle of blue ribbon too - it reminds me of the sea.
