Colors For AYSI...

It’s a new challenge at As You See It!  It’s a color challenge to use parakeet party, so saffron, coastal cabana and gorgeous grape on your card.

I do love color challenges but this one was tough.  And I picked the colors for it!  What was I thinking?? LOL!  I will admit that I like how abstract these colors look together.  I started by stamping the pear image in parakeet party and adding the sentiment.

Then I used dsp in the other three colors and die cut using my deckled edges.  I used a bit of black to transition between the papers.  I popped up the die cuts over some coastal cabana ribbon and added a couple of dots.

What a little cutie! I like the way you've used all that lovely white space to tone down the strong colours and to focus our attention on the main image and sentiment. Nice work! Thanks for the challenge colours - they certainly caused me to dig deep!

LOL, I remember picking colors for a challenge and then later wondering what was on my mind! Anyway, I think you pulled them together nicely, especially with the black neutral...very striking!

Isn't that always the way?! I thought I was going to struggle with these colours, but actually they were easier to work with than I anticipated! I love how you focus on the green for the pear and used snippets of the others to frame - great idea. A CAS masterpiece Jane!
