Retro Rubber Challenge 226...
March 12, 2024
It’s a new Retro Rubber Challenge! It’s a theme challenge to make a card with spring flowers.
I dug out my Papertrey Ink Flower Favorites from 2015 and inked up the iris image. I used some distress inks so that I could spritz them with water to make a watercolor image. I didn’t set out to have the splatter background – but one iris image with too much pressure and ink went flying.
I added the sentiment and then used my deckled edges to cut the card front and the gorgeous grape background. I added some linen thread and then adhered to my pear pizzazz base.
