Apple Blossoms For AYSI...

It’s a new challenge at As You See It!  It’s a fill in the blank challenge.  The color I use least in my crafting is...flirty flamingo!

#322 4.26.24

Confession:  This card was made for our previous challenge.  As I was making it - I had the thought that I never use flirty flamingo and shame on me because it is a lovely color!  You are probably wondering why I didn't post it for our last challenge...because I broke the rules and used green and two neutrals (white and brown) when you are allowed one neutral and only the four colors in the challenge.  I didn't have time to make another card so I had to sit out the challenge.  However...sometimes mistakes can become a card for the next challenge!

I stamped the apple harvest branch and colored the apples with my calypso coral and flirty flamingo blends.  I used crumbcake and granny apple green for the branch and leaves.

I stamped the sentiment and some flowers that I colored with bubble bath and daffodil delight.  I fussy cut them and added to the card front.  I backed the white front with flirty flamingo then adhered to the calypso coral base.  I ended up making another card with flirty flamingo while I had the cardstock out.  That means I am probably good with this color for awhile.  LOL.

Retro Rubber Challenge 228...

It’s a new Retro Rubber Challenge!  It’s a fun sketch to try!

RRCB 228

I started by stamping and die cutting the branch of spring berries.  It is from my Papertrey Ink Spring Beautiful Berries from 2017.  I also die cut a postage stamp from white to pop the berries on.

The layer behind the sketch is aluminum dryer tape.  I learned this trick a long time ago and yet I rarely use it.  It adds shine and its tape!  I ran the tape thru my linen plate for some texture and then attached to the flirty flamingo card base.  I added the sentiment (Clearly Besotted Message Me 2016) and was done.
