Pears Have It For AYSI...
August 30, 2024
It’s a new challenge at As You See It! It’s a speed challenge to make a card with fruit!
I dug out some old pear stamps and my pear pizzazz ink and paper – naturally. I started the clock and set to work. I cut down the card base, a piece of black and the white card front and ran them all through the linen plate.
I stamped random pears and only inked in one set of pears with the pear pizzazz and some crushed curry ink. I stamped the sentiment and then used my washi punch on it and a piece of pear pizzazz. I layered everything and was done. With 2 seconds to spare. I was sure I had more time than that left on the clock! That ten minutes goes by fast in these speed challenges!

Thanks for stopping by today!
Supplies: CS: SU! white, basic black and pear pizzazz. Stamps: W+9 punny produce – pears. Inks: SU! crushed curry and pear pizzazz. Other: SU! washi punch. PTI linen plate.
Even the paper is a fruit! I'm impressed you still have some Pear Pizzazz. Mine, alas, is all gone. I really like the way you've highlighted just the one pear pair with colour and, as always, your linen plate is awesome. Great card!

I love all the detail you included even though this was a speed stamping challenge, Jane. The linen plate embossing folder, colouring in two of the pears, the backing on the sentiment, etc. This is a beautiful design, made all the more stunning knowing it was completed in under 10 minutes!
