Hello! Welcome to the second week of the current Retro Rubber #15 challenge! This challenge is all about vintage and if you read last week’s post, you know how I feel about vintage!
But I am making another attempt at vintage! This week I stuck with sahara sand, black and white. I did manage to get a bit of lace on there as well! Because I needed a sketch, I am playing along with the Deconstructed Sketch challenge.
I used my Pink Persimmon Perfumery stamp set for this card. I used a background stamp to versamark the sahara sand on the long strip and flag. Then I stamped the perfume bottle in black on white CS. I backed the white with a small piece of sahara sand and then distressed all the edges. I put the card together following the sketch and added a few pearls and a bit of lace.
Be sure to play along with the Retro Rubber challenge this week! Click HERE to link up your project!
Now, that the business is out of the way, let’s get to the party! I am celebrating my first anniversary as a blogger today. Or is it celebrating a birthday? Either way I am celebrating! Be sure to leave a comment on today’s post (and only today’s post to be included in the blog candy giveaway) to win one of three prizes. I am giving away a stack of designer series paper, baker’s twine and a stamp set to three (yep – THREE) lucky winners!
For readers outside of the US - I am sorry - I will only ship in the United States. You will have plenty of time to comment – I will close comments on Thursday, June 4th at 6 PM MST. Then I will randomly choose three winners and post those winners on Monday, June 8th! It is that easy!
Thanks for stopping by today and helping me celebrate my anniversary/birthday! I appreciate that you take time to stop in and see me - so Thank You again!
