Green Pumpkins For AYSI...

It’s a new challenge at As You See It!  It’s a speed challenge to use pumpkins or gourds on your card.

#283 9.9.2022

I started by stamping my pumpkin images (in green!) before adding the sentiment.

Www.seejanestamp.com aysi 283 1

I added a piece of dsp and garden green trim to the vanilla card front and then die cut using a stitched rectangle.

I adhered to the card base and was planning to add some bling until I checked the time.  I had about 5 seconds left so I didn’t bother!  Time was 9 minutes and 55 seconds.

Fall Leaves For AYSI...

It’s a new challenge at As You See It!  Time for a sketch challenge so I went with a fall theme.

#260 10.1.2021

I stamped my branch and leaves in rich cocoa and then used alcohol markers to color.  I drew inspiration from the pattern paper for the leaves.

Www.seejanestamp.com aysi 260 1

I die cut the card front and then added a piece of early espresso to back it and the sentiment strip. I continued that theme with my pattern paper.  A bit of bling and I was done.

Retro Rubber Challenge 167...

It’s a new Retro Rubber Challenge!  We have a lovely sketch this time around.

RRCB 167

I started by stamping and die cutting my coffee cup image from my Stampin’ Up! Merry Café stamp set from 2017.  I stamped the sentiment and then die cut to put on the coffee cup instead of below the image.

Www.seejanestamp.com rrcb 167 1

I die cut a curved edge and added some pattern paper to make the basic part of the sketch and then added the coffee cup.  I used some punched leaves and a bit of bling to take the place of the sentiment since I used that on the coffee holder.

Www.seejanestamp.com rrcb 167 2

I was quite pleased with the outcome but full truth – totally not a fan of pumpkin spice.  I love the color and pumpkins but it’s a firm no to the flavor.  So for all of you pumpkin spice lovers – this one’s for you!

Orange You Glad It Is AYSI...

It’s a new challenge at As You See It!  It is a fill in the blank so here we go!  The color I avoid using the most is orange.

#239 11.20.20

I started by stamping the berry branch in soft suede and then added the berries in mango melody and pumpkin pie.  I die cut the berries and then popped them up on some orangey plaid and pumpkin pie.

Www.seejanestamp.com aysi 239 1 (640x544)

I stamped the sentiment and then die cut using my washi tag dies before popping it up on the plaid.  The sentiment feels highly appropriate right now.

Welcome to a new Retro Rubber Challenge!  We are all about fall colors and need to use red, orange and brown on our cards.

RRCB 119

I started by stenciling some fall leaves across my card in the required colors.  Then I added a bit of chocolate chip cardstock above and below the stencil to frame it in.

Www.seejanestamp.com rrcb 119 1 (534x640)

I die cut some leaves in red and orange, as well as one in dark yellow that I aged a bit using brown ink.  Finally I added the sentiment which is from the PTI keep it simple blessed sentiment set from 2017.

Autumn Flowers For HOC...

Welcome to the October House of Cards Challenge.  Use either the colors in the challenge image, autumn flowers or both.

October Autumn Flowers and or colors

As usual, I did a smidge of both.  I started with a sunflower that I stamped in daffodil delight and peekaboo peach.  I love the depth that I get from the peach ink.

Www.seejanestamp.com hoc oct 1 (597x640)

I added the leaves and the sentiment before drawing a line and dots in the opposite corner to balance the card.  Finally, I ran through the trusty linen impression plate.
