Welcome to a new challenge at the Brown Sugar Challenge. Our challenge this week is to use rhinestones and/or ribbon.

I started with this sweet image that I colored up with my pencils. I die cut it into an oval and backed it with an oval scallop.  Which reminded me of a cameo.

I used some vintage looking papers and then added a piece of lace with solid cardstock to layer over the papers.

I started with this super cute Super Beats DJ Hero image! She is so cute! So I just had to make her a little funky!

I used colored pencils to color in the image and then die cut her so I could pop her up on the card base.

I added a bit of twine and pattern paper behind her on the kraft card base. A fun image that I just adore!

I used this sweet cat image to create a simple black and white card with just a pop of color!  I used my colored pencils to fill in the hearts and ribbon and added a bit of grey on the cat. Which, of course, did not translate well in my photo!

I die cut the image with the stamped edge die and then popped it up over some black and white polka dots on a white base!

I used these cute trees. I liked the idea of singing trees so I made a small chorus and added a tree with a sentiment and one with some lights!

I started by stamping a small poinsettia and adding a sentiment. Then I die cut a scalloped square to showcase the sentiment and most of the flower.

I added some strips of cardstock and pattern paper behind the square and a few enamel dots. I used the sketch from the Sunday Stamps challenge to pull this all together.

I am using one of the images from the Fall Sentiments stamp set. I kept my card really clean and simple to focus on the sentiment. We always should remember to be thankful!

I added a bit of color with some leaves across the sentiment and then ran the card thru the linen impression plate.

I started with my favorite feather image from SU! and a lovely sentiment. After running the card front thru the linen impression plate, I adhered it to a base of perfect plum.

I added a thin strip of black paper and some dots to finish off the card.

Today we start a new challenge at the Brown Sugar Challenge. Our theme is anything goes with our sponsor of Dr. Digi’s.

I opted to stick with a Halloween theme with this cute witch called Witchy Wilma! I used my ziggy’s and did a little watercoloring of the image.

When I downloaded the image, I added this fun sentiment as I knew I didn’t have any sentiments that were worthy of this image!

I am very excited to announce that as of today I am joining the Brown Sugar Challenge Design Team! I am thrilled! This week’s challenge is to “Think Pink” and our sponsor is My Besties!

I choose this fun image and went for it with a pink pumpkin. I colored this image using my ziggies and a bit of water. I added some chalk to ground the pumpkin and some blue for the sky.

I die cut the image using my mini scallop stitched squares, stamped the sentiment and then adhered to a kraft card base after adding a strip of pattern paper and lucky limeade cardstock.
