Retro Rubber Challenge 232...

It’s a new Retro Rubber Challenge!  It’s a fun sketch to try!

RRCB 232

I die cut two stitched triangles out of coordinating paper and then layered according to the sketch.

I stamped the sentiment (Simon Says Stamp Sketchy Banner Greetings from 2013), snipped the edges on an angle and then popped up over the triangles.  I added a bit of bling and was done!  CAS to the max!

Retro Rubber Challenge 225...

It’s a new Retro Rubber Challenge!  It’s a tic tac toe and I opted for pattern paper, embossing, and gems or sequins.

RRCB 225

I started by stamping the flower image (with it’s cute little happy face!) and sentiment then die cutting with my stitched fishtail flags dies.  I also die cut the pattern paper with the fishtail flags.  The flower image came from my Simon Says Stamps floral bookmarking stamp set from 2014.  The sentiment is not over a year old and is from Simon Says Stamps Beautiful Friend.

I embossed the card front with a grid pattern and then die cut with a stitched rectangle.  I layered everything up and added some gems, a piece of linen thread and was done!

Vintage Roses For AYSI...

It’s a new challenge at As You See It!  It’s a color challenge to use melon mambo, crushed curry, granny apple green and mossy meadow.

#315 1.19.24

I stamped and heat embossed in black before water coloring using the four required colors.  This stamp lends itself to water coloring and I liked that I could soften the boldness of the colors.

Www.seejanestamp.com aysi 315 1

I did some black speckles on the card and die cut with my deckled edges.  Finally, I added some black rhinestones before adhering to the base.

Retro Rubber Challenge 213...

It’s a new Retro Rubber Challenge!  It’s a theme challenge to make a card with rainbows or use rainbow colors!

RRCB 213

I started by stamping this sweet image from My Favorite Things Pure Innocence Freckles.  I have had this stamp for over 5 years – probably longer.

Www.seejanestamp.com rrcb 213 1

I used my alcohol markers to color her in using the colors of the rainbow.  I added a little gray under her feet to ground her and a little chalky blue around her (which did not photo well).  A sentiment popped up and I was done.

Lemony Sunshine For AYSI...

It’s a new challenge at As You See It!  It’s a fill in the blank!  The thing I love most about summer is spending time with friends and family and enjoying a nice cold drink!

#304 7.28.23

I dug out my brand new Stampin’ Up! So Refreshing stamp set to make this card.  I stamped the images and then die cut them.  I wanted to use summery colors – yellows for the summer sunshine and purple for summer flowers.

Www.seejanestamp.com aysi 304 1

I started with a light lemon lolly gingham background to set the scene.  Then I added a sprig of flowers and the cloth while layering everything else up.  What is your favorite thing about summer?  I look forward to seeing what you create!

Up! For AYSI...

It’s a new challenge at As You See It!  It’s a color challenge to use poppy parade, Tahitian tide, gray granite and crumbcake.

#303 7.14.23

I started by digging out one of my favorite stamp sets – Stampin’ Up!’s Bella & Friends.  I love the images so much!  So I got to working stamping my image and coloring using my alcohol markers.

Www.seejanestamp.com aysi 303 1

Recipe In Pink...

It’s a new challenge at As You See It!  We have a recipe challenge to use distressed paper, blossoms, pearls, shades of pink and embossing folder.

#293 2.24.23

I started by stamping my branch with pear pizzazz and the wisteria with pink pirouette and pretty in pink.  I added the sentiment and then ran thru my dainty diamonds embossing folder.  I cut the card front down with my deckled edges die.

Www.seejanestamp.com aysi 293 1

I also ran a piece of pink pirouette thru the dainty diamond EF and deckled edges.  Then I did something that just about did me in – I crumpled the paper.  Oh man!  My organized pea brain just about couldn’t handle it!  LOL.  But it’s a great way to distress your paper!   I then adhered everything to a card base of pretty in pink, added some pearls and was done!

Hugs For AYSI...

It’s a new challenge at As You See It!  It’s a color challenge to use polished pink, sweet sorbet, Tahitian tide and night of navy on your card.

#291 1.27.23

I love a good collage card and these colors are perfect for making that happen.  I stamped the floral image in night of navy and then added the background in the rest of the required colors.

Www.seejanestamp.com aysi 291 1

I used my deckled edges to die cut the card front and a piece of night of navy to back that.  It makes a great pop of color and helps draw your eye to the images.  I added some sweet sorbet dots and was done.
