Welcome to a new As You See It Challenge.  This one is fill in the blank!

Then I added the sentiment that I backed with a bit of black.  I finished off with a few black rhinestones. aysi 203 2 (640x467)

Hibiscus Flowers For AYSI...

For our new challenge at As You See It, we have a color challenge of calypso coral, daffodil delight and mossy meadow.

#202 6.7.19

I started by stamping two hibiscus flowers in calypso coral.  I added a bit of leaves and the flower stems in the appropriate colors. aysi 202 1 (570x640)

I die cut around the images using my stitched arch and popped up over a panel of daffodil delight and mossy meadow that I centered on kraft cardstock.  I finished off with a few dots and bling for interest. aysi 202 2 (640x470)

Retro Rubber Challenge 109...

It’s Anything Goes at Retro Rubber

RRCB 109

I started with a funky die cut rectangle out of some musical paper. rrcb 109 1 (584x640)

Then I flagged a couple of scraps of paper and popped them up after adding my sentiment.  I thought it appropriate given my paper! rrcb 109 2 (640x507)

The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted Message Me from 2016.  A little bling finishes the card!

Retro Rubber Challenge 105...

It’s a new challenge at Retro Rubber and we have a surprise for you!  We are partnering with Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!  We are using their sketch and pairing it with our requirement to use stamps older than a year.  This is double the fun! You can link up your entry with both challenges.

RRCB 105

I love a good sketch and this was a fun one!  I pulled out my W+9 Punny Produce: Peaches from 2014 and set to work.  I stamped the peach in black, peach parfait and pear pizzazz before die cutting the mini scalloped square. rrcb 105 1 (524x640)

Using my flag dies from Reverse Confetti, I die cut flags in some plaid and solid paper and stapled them together instead of running the flags across the top.  Then I popped up the mini square and added the sentiment! rrcb 105 2 (640x476)

I love this card!  Play along with Try Stampin’ and RRCB by linking up HERE and HERE!

Retro Rubber Challenge 97...

We are starting a new challenge at Retro Rubber!  It’s a tic tac toe courtesy of Jan Clothier.  I puzzled a bit on this one and finally went for the bottom row of animals, windows and circles.

I rolled the window and circles together by die cutting a stitched circle in the card front that I popped up on the card base. rrcb 97 1 (515x640)

Before adding the card front, however, I stamped this sweet puppy and colored with my pencils.  It is from the SU! Bella & Friends.  This stamp set came out in 2016 and I purchased it as soon as I saw it that year. rrcb 97 2 (640x500)

I added a bit of chalk around the image to ground the little guy and then stamped the sentiment on the card front.  I love the saying and always think of Toy Story when I see it.  And now I am humming the tune.

Kiwis For AYSI...

It’s a new challenge at As You See It!  We have a fun sketch for you to try.

#182 8.10.18

I started with a base of white.  I added a piece of white cardstock that I die cut a curved edge into and then backed it with a piece of lemon lime twist that I cut a curved edge into as well. aysi 182 1 (537x640)

I added the kiwi pattern paper to the base before layering the white/lemon lime twist combo. aysi 182 2 (640x522)

I found the “sweet” sentiment and stamped it on a washi tape die cut that I popped up over the kiwis.  I added the button with some twine and was done.

Retro Rubber Challenge #90...

Welcome to a new challenge at Retro Rubber!  It’s a photo inspiration so you can use either the colors or the items in the photo to create your card.

I opted for the colors, creating a bit of a patriotic theme with some stars and stripes but using a sentiment that is distinctly not patriotic. rrcb 90 1 (578x640)

I added a few papers from my stash to a base of rustic cream cardstock and then die cut with a double stitched die. rrcb 90 2 (627x640)

I added the sentiment from the Papertrey Ink choose joy stamp set from 2015 and a sweet arrow from the Simon Says Stamp choose happy stamp set from 2016.  I popped the whole thing up on a base of kraft and was done.
