Healing For AYSI...

Welcome to a new As You See It Challenge!  It is a recipe challenge and you must use twine, a tag, a leaf, a die cut and make it a get well card.

#210 9.27.19

I knocked off three items by die cutting a tag and a leaf.  I left a couple of spaces in the leaf so that you could see the white background.

Www.seejanestamp.com aysi 210 1 (494x640)

I wrapped some twine around the base and added a bit of twine to the tag.  Then I die cut a strip of white so that I could put my get well wishes on.  I put everything together and was done.

Purples For AYSI...

We have a new speed challenge at As You See It!  These are fun!  The objective is to make a card in under 10 minutes.  You must make the card in shades of purple and report how much time you had left on the clock after you finished the card.

#206 8.2.19

I started with a base of gray granite which I ran thru the linen impression plate.  I felt I needed a neutral tone to balance all of the purple.  Then I diecut a piece of elegant eggplant and white after which I ran them thru the linen plate.

Www.seejanestamp.com aysi 206 1 (570x640)

Then I randomly stamped the images in three shades of purple: wisteria wonder, elegant eggplant and perfect plum.  I adhered the three pieces together and then stamped the sentiment.  Finally, I added pearls and rhinestones.

Sweet Colors For AYSI...

We have a new challenge at As You See It!  A fun color palette of powder pink, pineapple punch, and lovely lipstick.

#199 4.26.19

I busted out some of my dies and embossing folders and set to work.  The top part of the card is the pineapple punch cardstock that I ran thru a striped embossing folder.  I added it to the white card front that I ran thru the linen impression plate.

Www.seejanestamp.com aysi 199 1 (594x640)

Then I die cut a chevron out of the lovely lipstick and added pink pirouette underneath.  I couldn’t find my powder pink cardstock so I went with as close as I had.  I adhered it to the card front and added the sentiment and a few enamel hearts.

Finally I attached everything to my kraft card base.

I die cut the circle getting as many of these cute faces in the circle as I could. Then I added a piece of soft suede as the backing.

Www.seejanestamp.com rrcb 46 4 (640x369)

I used a piece of pattern paper, stamped the sentiment and popped up the image. The sketch from The Challenge came in handy for this card!

Just Ducky...

I don’t know about you but I was feeling anything but ducky yesterday! Just one of those days you wonder why you got out of bed! LOL! So here is hoping today will be better!

Just a quick one layer card today to play along with the One Layer Simplicity Challenge to use a stencil.

Www.seejanestamp.com olc 1 (579x640)

I stenciled my background using a mini chicken wire stencil and added the duck and the sentiment.  After I got done I thought I should have used a rooster or a chicken to stay with the “chicken” wire theme but didn’t like the sentiments as well!
