We have a new challenge at As You See It!  A fun sketch that you can do a lot of things with!

I opted for my first Halloween card of the year.  Using pattern paper I created a number of flags and adhered to the white card base.

I added the sentiment and a bit of thick twine as per the sketch!

It’s a new challenge for As You See It and it’s a scary one!  The challenge is to make a scary card.  Now, I really don’t have a lot of scary stamps so I decided to make a sort of scary card.

I don’t know about you, but if we run out of coffee at my house, it gets pretty scary.  Thus my scary card!

I started by diecutting some patterned paper and then adhered to the card base.  I then die cut and stamped the coffee cup and popped up on the patterned paper.

That’s it for today.  Good news – I am hoping to get back to posting on a regular schedule starting in November.  My craft cave has been getting cobwebs for lack of use and I am itching to get back in there.

Welcome to a new Retro Rubber Challenge.  We are all about Halloween for this challenge!

I started by stamping the images from SU! Batty For You (from around 2008) in three colors and then backing them with coordinating cardstock.

I ran the card base thru my PTI wrought iron impression plate, added the sentiment and images and a few enamel dots.

It’s a new challenge for the October House of Cards!  Since it is October, it is all about Halloween and/or Halloween colors for your card.

I stamped a super old Frankenstein image and then colored in with some pencils.  I backed the image with lemon lime twist and tangerine tango papers.

I ran a piece of black thru my spider web embossing folder before attaching everything to a white card base.

Monday again! I opted to use the sketch from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

I started by die cutting a pumpkin and some quasi leaves out of felt. I die cut the card front with a stitched rectangle and added a stitched flag out of some pattern paper.

I layered the leaves and then added the pumpkin and some bling. The sentiment finished off my Halloween card!

Today we start a new challenge at the Brown Sugar Challenge. Our theme is anything goes with our sponsor of Dr. Digi’s.

I opted to stick with a Halloween theme with this cute witch called Witchy Wilma! I used my ziggy’s and did a little watercoloring of the image.

When I downloaded the image, I added this fun sentiment as I knew I didn’t have any sentiments that were worthy of this image!

It’s the second week of the Halloween Retro Rubber Challenge so I am back with another card.

I used my retired SU! Tee Hee Hee stamps again and the color challenge from the Fab Friday Challenge.

I stamped a clothesline and stamped the hat three times in old olive, pumpkin pie and perfect plum. I added the clothespins and the sentiment in black.

As I was looking for some stamps, I came across these eyeglasses and thought – why not?

So I stamped one in each color, added the sentiment and was done.

Welcome to a new Retro Rubber Challenge! We are celebrating Halloween so be sure to join in the spooky fun!

I started with the SU! Tee Hee Hee stamp set which came out in 2014 and the SU! ghoulish grunge which came out this year. I stamped the netting in a vertical strip using pumpkin pie ink and second generation stamping.

I added the witch’s hat, dress and shoes in black and then the sentiment. I ran the card thru the linen impression plate and was done.

I am entering this card in the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.

I whipped up a fun Halloween card for the Fab Friday challenge.

I decided I was going with a ghost theme and dug out this fun ghost dsp for the background. I did add a layer of black behind it so it would be set off a bit from the white card base.

I die cut a wonky shape out of cajun craze and used my wonky stitched die to cut a peek-a-boo window for the cute ghost to pop out of. I added the sentiment and was done.
