Masculine

Retro Rubber Challenge 227...

It’s a new Retro Rubber Challenge!  It’s a color challenge to use white, blue, brown and black.

RRCB 227

I opted for a clean and simple masculine birthday card.  I die cut a piece of boho blue and crumbcake with my shiplap die.

I stamped the image from my SU! Artistically Asian stamp set (from around 2016) onto white, then adhered my shiplap pieces and stamped the image again.  I finished the card with the birthday sentiment from Clearly Besotted Message Me (2016).

Retro Rubber Challenge 216...

It’s a new Retro Rubber Challenge!  It’s a tic tac toe and I opted for masculine, leaves and die cut.

RRCB 216

I leaned in heavy on using pattern papers for this challenge.  I have been sick with migraines and then I caught the crud and my energy levels are low.  So I am super clean and simple on this card.

I die cut papers that coordinated and had leaves on them.  I popped them up over some linen thread and then added the sentiment.  This card works perfectly for my brother’s upcoming birthday.

The sentiment is from my Art Impressions Dance It Out stamp set from 2020.

Retro Rubber Challenge 163...

It’s a new Retro Rubber Challenge!  It’s a Tic Tac Toe challenge.  I opted for something mechanical, wood and twine or cord.

RRCB 163

I started by stamping the tractor from my Stampin’ Up! Harvest Blessings stamp set from 2012.  I ran my card base through my woodgrain embossing folder and then cut some pattern paper.

I backed the pattern paper and tractor with old olive, added some thick twine and then layered it up on the card base.  The sentiment is from my often used Clearly Besotted Message Me from 2016.
