It’s the second week of the Retro Rubber sketch challenge! And I am using the lovely colors from the Sunday Stamps challenge of pink, chocolate, and white. Bonus – I can play along with the NBUS challenge again today. Does this mean I have way too many new stamps? I think so!!

I switched things up a bit by using a large sentiment die cut for the shapes. I cut three sentiments out of pink pirouette and adhered them together using Elmer’s spray adhesive. This stuff makes life so much easier!

I added the rest of the sentiment in chocolate chip ink and then piled on the bling. This card is going to a friend of mine who has had an unexpected medical emergency! So I am definitely sending prayers her way!

Welcome to Monday! Today’s card was made for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge. It also qualifies for the NBUS challenge where you get to use Never Before Used Schtuff! Thank you for the fun challenge Darnell!

I started by stamping and die cutting these lovely tulips in blushing bride and calypso coral. I wrapped some crisp cantaloupe twine around the stems to create a bundle.  I just received this stamp set from Papertrey Ink and could hardly wait to break it in!

Then I added a couple of pieces of paper from my stash to the card front in accordance with the sketch. I stamped a spring sentiment (from a stamp set that I have never used!), adhered everything and was done.
