Retro Rubber Challenge

Retro Rubber Challenge 208...

It’s a new Retro Rubber Challenge!  It’s a color challenge to use at least three of these five colors – yellow, pink/red, green, orange and brown.

RRCB 208

I started by stamping three ice cream cones and coloring them with my alcohol markers.  These are from my Lawn Fawn Admit One stamp set from 2014.

I die cut them and then added the sentiment from Papertrey Ink Keep It Simple Friendship from 2017.  I thought the sentiment was perfect.  A sweet treat for a sweet friend.

It’s a new Retro Rubber Challenge!  It’s a fun sketch to try!

RRCB 205

I started by stamping random circles in sweet sorbet, parakeet party and Tahitian tide in the upper corner of my white card front.  The circles are from My Favorite Things Party Patterns and I have had over 10 years.

I die cut triangles and then stamped the sentiment on the white card front.  The sentiment is from Paper Smooches sentiment sampler from over 10 years ago.  I attached the card front to a base of parakeet party and then popped up the triangles to follow the sketch.

Retro Rubber Challenge 204...

It’s a new Retro Rubber Challenge!  It’s a theme challenge to make a card that celebrates spring!

RRCB 204

I love spring flowers and opted to go with some tulips.  I stamped them using my Clearly Besotted Miniature Florals from 2015 and colored using alcohol markers.  I die cut using my deckled edges and then did a daffodil delight die cut to back the image.

Www.seejanestamp.com rrcb 204 1

I used crumb cake as my base and some daffodil delight seam binding for the ribbon.  My sentiment is from my often used Clearly Besotted Message Me from 2016.  We have secret pals at work so my pal will get this thank you card next month for all the goodies I have received over the past nine months.  I have been spoiled!

Retro Rubber Challenge 203...

It’s a new Retro Rubber Challenge!  It’s a theme challenge to make a birthday card!

RRCB 203

I dug through my stash and stumbled across this old stamp set from Simon Says Stamp called Tag Sayings.  It is from 2013 and had some fun birthday themed stamps and tag dies.  Score!

Www.seejanestamp.com rrcb 203 3

I stamped the birthday sentiment and then die cut with the tag die.  I added some confetti type washi on the bottom of the tag and then cut two more out of poppy parade and pool party.

Www.seejanestamp.com rrcb 203 4

I added some twine to the tags and popped up on the soft stone card base.  Some little stamped balloons that I colored with alcohol inks finished off the card.

I started with some old olive cardstock, cork and pattern paper.  I ran the old olive through my SU! bark embossing folder and the card base on my trusty linen impression plate.

Www.seejanestamp.com rrcb 200 1

I cut the green down and then made a couple of strips out of the cork and pattern paper.  I adhered them all to the card base and popped on a mini sentiment.  The sentiment is from my Simon Says Stamp Sketchy Banner Greetings from 2013.

Www.seejanestamp.com rrcb 196 1

I stamped the pumpkin in light pumpkin pie and then added the overlay stamp in a darker pumpkin pie.  I stamped the leaf and vine directly on the stripes and then popped up the pumpkin.  I added the sentiment and was done.  The stamps are from my Close To My Heart So Grateful stamp set that I have had for at least 10 years.
