Retro Rubber Challenge 251...

It’s a new Retro Rubber Challenge!  It’s anything goes!

RRCB 251

Even though spring has finally arrived, I made a wintery birthday card.  I stamped and embossed this image from My Favorite Things Pure Innocence and then colored with my alcohol markers.

I stamped and embossed the sentiment and die cut, choosing to wrap twine thru the cut outs.  I popped it on the card, die cut the card front and was done!  Both stamps I have had for more than 5 years.

Retro Rubber Challenge 238...

It’s a new Retro Rubber Challenge!  It’s a theme challenge to make a card with camping or outdoor stamps and/or paper.

RRCB 238

I made my card before I remembered the camping part of the challenge image.  So my jeep and surfboard are on their way to a beach camp out!

Www.seejanestamp.com rrcb 238 1

I stamped my jeep, board and sentiment and backed with a bit of blue chalk.  I used my Heidi Swapp stamp set from her Stamp Therapy class.  I have had the stamp set for over a year.  In the end, I kept to my CAS style with this one.

Vintage Thanks For AYSI...

It’s a new challenge at As You See It!  It’s a theme challenge to make a vintage or shabby chic card.  I am a CAS girl but I think I managed just fine on this one!

#330 8.16.24

I started with a piece of country woods dsp that I stamped the floral image on.  Then, using masks, I inked up the image with my blending brushes.  I roughed up the edges before adhering to my layers of lost lagoon, wild wheat and pecan pie.

To help with the vintage feel, I stamped (lightly) some splatter and script in wild wheat around the edges and on the image a bit.  I stamped the sentiment and die cut, adding a bit of twine on the end of the sentiment and some below it.  I popped it up, added a dot and was done!

Wedding Bells For AYSI...

It’s a new challenge at As You See It!  It’s a theme challenge to make a wedding card.

#324 5.24.24

My sweet niece is getting married – thus my inspiration for the challenge!  I wanted to use her colors to make this card for her and my soon to be sweet nephew.  I started by die cutting the bride (in white and white linen) and groom (in misty moonlight) and gluing all the pieces together.

Www.seejanestamp.com aysi 324 1

I die cut the oval in this lovely green to showcase the bride and groom.  I popped it up over some ribbon and then added the sentiment – which I really had to dig to find.  I think I need some more wedding sentiments!  Happy wedding day!

Retro Rubber Challenge 226...

It’s a new Retro Rubber Challenge!  It’s a theme challenge to make a card with spring flowers.

RRCB 226

I dug out my Papertrey Ink Flower Favorites from 2015 and inked up the iris image.  I used some distress inks so that I could spritz them with water to make a watercolor image.  I didn’t set out to have the splatter background – but one iris image with too much pressure and ink went flying.

Www.seejanestamp.com rrcb 226 1

I added the sentiment and then used my deckled edges to cut the card front and the gorgeous grape background.  I added some linen thread and then adhered to my pear pizzazz base.

#318 3.1.24

I don’t have a lot of Easter stamps but…I bought this cute bunny wreath a while back and voila…Easter!  This is a stamp and stencil set so first up was stenciling the bunnies, the flowers and the carrots.

Www.seejanestamp.com aysi 318 1

The stamp portion is all of the greenery and sentiment.  I die cut the wreath and popped it up on some rustic white with the sentiment in the middle.  I added some sparkle and was done!
